Roland Cuts Ribbon on New Headquarters

Irvine, CA January 20, 2003 Roland DGA Corporation - a leader in the graphic arts, fine art, signage and rapid prototyping industries - today cut the ribbon on its new headquarters. Located less than a mile up the road from the previous facility, the new Roland building features an improved showroom, a bigger warehouse, a 4500 square foot training center and upgraded telecommunications equipment.

"When I first saw this great facility being built eight years ago, I wanted a building just like it for Roland, " said Bob Curtis, Roland President & CEO. "Now that we are actually here, it is a dream come true. This place has everything we need to offer Roland customers the ultimate in customer service and training."

Irvine Mayor Pro Tem Michael Ward did the honors by cutting the ribbon. "This is the second time I have cut the ribbon for Roland," said Ward. "I have had the opportunity to watch Roland come to Irvine 13 years ago and grow its business. Congratulations on your continued success."

The new training facility offers room for Roland staff to provide customers and dealers with hands-on training. For the first time ever, Roland University now includes classes on Roland 3D and engraving devices, as well as inkjet and thermal transfer equipment.

The new showroom features every Roland product family. Roland staff can easily demonstrate the latest technologies, from printing fine art giclées to milling rapid prototypes. The building also displays a wide variety of Roland sample output.
