Roland Hi-Fi JET PRO Selected by Autotype for New Inkjet Screenprinting System

Irvine, CA. February 14, 2003 Roland DGA Corporation today announced that Autotype has selected the Hi-Fi JET PRO wide format inkjet printer as part of its Aspect Quadra film positive production system.

The PRO is also ideal for producing fine art giclées, as it uses variable droplet technology and eight-colors (CMYK plus OGLcLm) to print up to 1440 x 1440 dpi with a massive color gamut. It is Pantone Hexachrome certified to simulate over 97 percent of PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM® colors. When loaded with dual sets of CMYK, the PRO can print up to 127-square-feet per hour for sign and exhibit production. Roland offers the PRO in 54- and 64-inch models.
