FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VisCom goes ISA
Düsseldorf: Just twelve weeks after sales started for VisCom 2003, 65 percent of the hall space has already been sold. A total of 108 international exhibitors have firmly booked their exhibition space for the three-day event in September 2003, including the digital printing market leaders NUR, Scitex and Vutek. A new exhibitor in the field of screen-printing is Durst. And in the new imaging products and systems segment, the event has succeeded in attracting the major international company Agfa. As a means of further intensifying the international nature of the exhibition and increasing the numbers of exhibitors from the USA and Asia, VisCom is collaborating for the second time with the ISA (International Sign Association). From 2 - 5 April, 2003, VisCom will have its own stand at the ISA Show in Las Vegas. There, all the exhibitors and visitors will have the opportunity to find out all about the signmaking events in Europe this year and next from the French, Spanish, Italian and German representatives on the "European Signshows" stand (no. 2781).
Also, there have been close links to the KOSIGN event in South Korea since December 2002. "Our aim is to continually raise the international profile of VisCom 2003. On the Asian market in particular - one of our strongest rivals - the product cycles are getting ever shorter. Here we can see new markets for our exhibitors. We are intensifying our partnerships as a means of gaining access to these areas of business," explains Diana Schmeisser, Project Manager of VisCom 2003 and PRO SIGN 2002.
The excellent rebooking figure for VisCom 2003 is the result of efforts at the last events - PRO SIGN 2002 and VisCom 2001. Attracting 198 exhibitors from 23 countries and 7,007 trade visitors, the team of the new Project Manager Diana Schmeisser proved at PRO SIGN 2002 without a trace of doubt that they are giving the market what it wants. The winning PRO-SIGN team of Diana Schmeisser, Petra Schmitz and Christian Hruschka are also taking care of VisCom 2003. The VisCom 2003 supporting programme will include the Training Pavilion, which was successfully launched in 2001, and the Congress. Both events went down very well with the trade visitors and attracted significantly more visitors and participants at PRO SIGN than at the first events. The 7th VisCom will also be held in Hall 6 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. We wish the same success for VisCom as for Reed Exhibition Deutschland's other recent sign shows.
