TRUMPF to Exhibit Lightweight Chamfering and Deburring Tool at International Sign Expo 2003

FARMINGTON, Conn., March 5, 2003 - At the International Sign Expo, April 2 to 5, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada, TRUMPF will exhibit their quality hand-held power tools. TRUMPF's small, lightweight power tools produce an excellent finish in smaller gauge, thinner material.

The highlight of booth 2225 will be the new TKA 300-0, a lightweight chamfering and deburring tool. The hand-held TKA 300-0 quickly and safely removes burrs and creates quality contours, straight and round edges. This excellent finish is particularly useful when sharp edges and corners are processed for better paint adhesion.

Superior cut quality is achieved via the TKA 300-0's twin-blade tool system. Three-way reversible cutter inserts (for steel processing) and 45-degree chamfers are quickly interchangeable and distinctive for their durability. With the TKA 300-0, it is possible to machine inside and outside contours and cut either 45-degree angle or radius edges. The maximum chamfer length is 0.125 inches, mild steel and the TKA 300-0's speed is easily changed to suit different materials.
