57th Annual International Sign Expo Breaks Records - ISA 2004 Show Floor 70% Sold
Alexandria, Va. (April 17, 2002) Despite the current global climate, the International Sign Association’s (ISA) 57th Annual International Sign Expo broke all previously set attendance records. Final numbers indicate that 16,903 attendees were able to speak with 541 companies exhibiting in 1,340 exhibit booths and representing 33 countries at the recent show, held April 2-5 in Las Vegas, Nev.
“I believe that the 2003 ISA Expo was the best convention that we've attended in at least five and perhaps in as many as 10 years!” said Bert Guinee, president, Miratec Systems, Inc. He added, “We met with good prospects and our good customers who expressed more optimism about the future of our industry than we've heard in a good long time.”
"Our exhibitors were delighted with the quality and quantity of attendees,” said ISA president and CEO Dean Garritson. “We surpassed previous records with more than 10,000 pre-registered for the Expo, and our final registration tally was 16,903 people.” Garritson added, “By all reports, sign manufacturers and product suppliers did a significant amount of business at the Expo.”
“The leads we received from the show were outstanding. There is no question that the ISA International Show is the premier venue for access to the broadest cross section of companies in the sign industry,” stated Dave Noshay, director of sales, SignComp.
Over 70 percent of the show floor space has been reserved for the 58th International Sign Expo, scheduled for April 14-17, 2004, in Orlando, Fla. “We are enthusiastic that the exhibiting community continues to support ISA and our Expo,” said Garritson. “With nearly three-quarters of the show floor already sold, we look forward to another successful event next year.”
