ISA Distributes $150,000 to Regions

Alexandria, VA (May 20, 2003) Using proceeds derived from the 2003 International Sign Expo in Las Vegas, Nev., the International Sign Association (ISA) recently distributed $150,000 to nine regions in the United States and Canada as part of its regional plan.

“We are pleased to disburse these funds to our affinity associations,” said ISA President and CEO Dean Garritson. “These associations work with us to unify the industry.” Garritson continued, “As part of the regional plan, ISA returns a portion of its revenue to each region with funds based on the percentage of sign company members within the region.”

Nine regions have been identified to encompass the United States and Canada. The regions are as follows: Central Sign Council (CSC), Midwest Sign Association (MSA), Mid South Sign Association (MSSA), Northeast States Sign Association (NSSA), Northwest Sign Council (NWSC), Sign Association of Canada (SAC), Southern States Sign Council (SSSC), Southwest Sign Council (SWSC), and Western States Sign Council (WSSC). The following is the breakdown of the monies distributed to each region:

CSC (IA; IL; KS; MN; MO; ND; NE; SD; WI):$23,384

MSA (IN; KY; MI; OH; Western PA; WV): $15,970

MSSA (AL; AR; LA; MS; TN):$11,787

NSSA (CT; DC; DE; MA; MD; NH; NJ; NY; Eastern PA; RI; VT): $18,251

NWSC (AB; AK; BC; ID; MT; OR; SK; WA; WY): $9,696

SAC (Canada except AB, BC and SK): $2,852

SSSC (FL; GA; NC; PR; SC; VA):$26,616

SWSC (CO; NM; OK; TX):$17,300

WSSC (AZ; CA; HI; NV; UT):$24,144
