Drytac’s New Diffuser is Ideal for Lightboxes and Backlit Displays

(Richmond, VA)-- Drytac announces the introduction of an ultra-thin diffusing backing film engineered specifically for backlit display graphics printed onto clear or translucent media. Protac Diffuser is a 2.5mil (62.5 micron), white polyester backing film coated with an aggressive cross-linking, solvent-based, acrylic adhesive. Its tunnel-deterring adhesive will adhere to most print media, including Duratrans™, translucent white inkjet film and reverse print polycarbonate, even in the most demanding lightbox conditions. When applied to the back of a backlit graphic, Protac Diffuser will disperse the light source evenly and consistently throughout the image, minimizing unwanted glare and distortion caused by “hot spots” in the display hardware. Protac Diffuser’s thin gauge makes it the ideal backing film for scrolling displays and ultra-thin lightboxes.

Available in roll widths ranging from 25” to 51” (650mm to 1300mm).
