Northwest Sign Show A Success For Exhibitors, Attendees

Alexandria, VA (August 18, 2003) Exhibitors lucky enough to secure a booth at the sold out International Sign Association (ISA) Northwest Sign Show (August 7-9), presented their products and services to 619 attendees at the show—over 25 percent above the projected attendance.

ISA President and CEO Dean Garritson credits a part of the show’s success to the efforts of the Northwest’s regional associations and councils. “The chairmen of the other associatons were instrumental in reaching out to potential exhibitors and attendees,” said Garritson. “I’ve no doubt that the attendance figures are as high as they are because our partners’ efforts.”

“Both exhibitors and attendees were pleased by the outcome of the show,” said Darryl Paulsen, president of Ramsey Signs, Inc., and of the Northwest Sign Council. “While we knew that we would draw many attendees, I was delighted to hear so many exhibitors say that the show was a complete success.”

Exhibitors expressed delight with the outcome of the show. “I thought the show was a good return on our investment,” said Jim Leone, national sales manager for Wagner Zip-Change, Inc. “We had a steady stream of people who showed considerable interest in the product we were showing.

The next ISA regional show, the Midwest Sign Show, is scheduled for October 2-4 in Indianapolis, Indiana. For more information, visit www.signs.org/events/Indianapolis.
