Transoft Solutions Inc. releases GuidSIGN 4.2

Versions released for AutoCAD 2004, MicroStation v8.1 and now Windows as a standalone application

Transoft Solutions has just released GuidSIGN 4.2, the newest version of its popular sign design program. The software, used extensively by State DOT’s, Counties, municipalities, and private consultants, is now available in three versions: for popular CAD programs AutoCAD and MicroStation, and now as a Windows standalone application for users that do not use CAD platforms.

GuidSIGN 4.2 features dozens of new State route markers and is even more stable than ever with several revisions having been made. Yet the most powerful addition to GuidSIGN is a new utility that allows direct integration between designers’ output files, and cutters and plotters used in the manufacturing process.

The Export Sign for Cutter feature allows users to select which objects, symbols, and text within a sign to cut, compress them to minimize material wastage, and export the finished sign as a DXF file containing vector-based polylines which are easily read by popular sign manufacturing systems and graphics programs.

GuidSIGN® 4.2 is a user-friendly program that completely automates the design of highway and roadway signs and does so a fraction of the time versus conventional methods.
