Océ Introduces Océ Arizona 600 Mid-Sized Printer Designed to Produce Scotchprint Graphics Covered by the 3M MCS Warranty

Newest Member of the Market-Leading Océ Arizona Solvent-Based Printer Family Loaded with Features to Increase Productivity

ATLANTA, Oct. 15, 2003 ­ (NASDAQ:OCENY) The Océ Arizona 600 makes its debut today in the Océ booth #2819 at the Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and Digital Printing & Imaging (DPI) Association¹s annual convention starting today in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Océ Arizona 600 is a mid-sized industrial-grade high volume production inkjet printer designed to be capable of producing Scotchprint Graphics that are backed by the 3M MCS Warranty when produced by a 3M Scotchprint Graphic Authorized Manufacturer.

The Océ Arizona 600 is a solvent-based, 75-inch wide production-grade inkjet printer that uses 3MTM Piezo Ink Jet Ink Series 5500. When used with select 3M media, the Océ Arizona 600 delivers outdoor-durable graphics backed by a 3M MCS Warranty of up to three years outdoor without lamination, or five years outdoor with lamination. The 3M MCS Warranty and Scotchprint Graphics brand will be available to 3M Scotchprint Graphics Authorized Manufacturers in select regions of the world, including North and South America.

The Océ Arizona 600 delivers print resolutions of 1,200 apparent (618 x 618 addressable) and 600 apparent (309 x 309 addressable) dpi using Océ ColorBlend six-color printing technology. Print speeds are up to 450 sq. ft. per hour in 2-pass mode, 250 sq. ft. per hour in 4-pass mode, and up to 200 sq. ft. per hour in 8-pass mode.
