MACtac® IMAGin® JT5828 Named a VUTEk™ Gold Certified Product
Stow, Ohio October 2003 Based on its product performance and manufacturing process, MACtac’s IMAGin® JT5828 vinyl film has been named to the VUTEk™ Gold Certification Program. This newly developed testing program provides VUTEk customers with a list of company-endorsed materials with proven track records in product performance, delivery, service and support.
IMAGin JT5828 is the first MACtac product to receive Gold Certification recognition. The vinyl is an intermediate two-year film, available with opaque permanent or opaque removable adhesive and a kraft paper liner. Designed specifically for large-format solvent inkjet applications, JT5828 offers clients excellent material quality and roll-to-roll consistency. Typical applications include indoor and outdoor advertising and promotional displays on flat or slightly curved surfaces.
The Gold Certification program evaluates products that VUTEk feels may represent “best of breed” in the material industry. Selected materials must meet strict standards for product performance and manufacturing.
Materials recommended in the program are manufactured in accordance to the VUTEk key values, including consistent quality, excellent warranty program, on-time delivery, good price/performance value, and great product service. Each Gold Certified product will be featured on the VUTEk Web site, which will provide the following information:
- Set-up guidelines for using the material in specified VUTEk printers
- Optimal ICC color profiles for use with VUTEk inks
- Part numbers and ordering information
IMAGin JT5828 is part of the JT5000 Series of vinyl films specifically designed for large-format solvent inkjet printing. The product line offers short-term to long-term vinyl surfaces with removable or permanent adhesives for use in promotional or signage applications. Popular applications include indoor signage, outdoor billboards, fleet marking and building decoration.
