TOP INTERNATIONAL SALES TRAINER ADDS TO SIGN BIZ, INC. PROGRAM

Hired by Sign Biz Inc in May 2003, Mary Silverstone considers herself a creative, results-oriented Sales Management Executive. After an extensive selection process and review, executives at Sign Biz, Inc. agree. Silverstone now presents an eight-hour sales and marketing class during the weeklong Sign Biz Formal Training Program. She brings much to the table: Silverstone developed the sales people, managers and trainers that grew Jenny Craig Int’l. from a $68M company to more than $460M, first as Director of Sales and Trainings and later as VP of Franchise. During this 11-year tenure, she authored and delivered franchise-training programs for their expansion from 50 to over 800 Jenny Craig centers. Her expertise led her to a position of Global Director of Sales Training for Callaway Golf, resulting in company revenue growth from $200M to more than $800M in a three-year period. Her background includes studies in Behavioral Psychology, Business Management and Organizational Leadership.

The Sign Biz Formal Training Program, in its 13th year as part of a certification in Sign Arts, is known for its thoroughness and its applicability to the small business environment today. Developed by Young, who was a computer-aided sign industry pioneer and business owner more than 18 years ago, the program is one of only a handful of its kind in the nation for the digital sign industry. Silverstone’s training curriculum focuses on key sales and marketing strategies of the Sign Biz Six-Pillar Marketing Program, and also addresses issues, challenges, and initiatives that have been instrumental in business success and her thoughts on what qualities help shape future top performers. The education curriculum is complemented by a minimum of one week of home study, and more than 17 proprietary manuals and training aides.
