Cyrious Releases Two New Modules for its Flagship Product, Cyrious Control©: the Credit Card Authorization Module and the Advanced Marketing Module

Baton Rouge, LA -- Cyrious Software, maker of the easy-to-use estimating and business management software, released two new modules for its flagship product, Cyrious Control©: the Credit Card Authorization Module and the Advanced Marketing Module. These modules give the owner powerful, yet simple tools to increase productivity and sales, and reduce costs.

Up to now, business owners used Cyrious software to manage accounts receivable and track payments, but had to process the credit card payments through external authorization machines. By adding the on-line integrated credit card module, external machines and extra phone lines are no longer necessary to authorize credit card payments.

“The Cyrious Credit Card Module architecture delivers increased convenience and speed,” says Charles Carter, president of Cyrious Software. “You can now process credit cards or other payments at any of your Cyrious terminals. And processing a payment with the Cyrious credit card module typically takes between 2 to 4 seconds, a welcome improvement as compared with 15 to 30 seconds for most dial-up systems. Even this, however, pales when you consider the savings from an integrated system and better reporting.” Cyrious’ on-line credit card module works in conjunction with most major merchant credit card banks.

The Advanced Marketing module enables the owner or employee to query the customer and order database and to automate certain tasks. The Query tool gives the user the ability to target customers and prospects by past purchasing patterns, industry, geography, or numerous other criteria. This list can be used in a mail merge (or email) for marketing or CRM purposes.

Business owners can automate marketing/CRM actions with the Macros tool.
For example, the system can be set-up to automatically:

• Send an email to a customer (and/or the sales person) when an order is completed;
• Schedule a follow-up call when an estimate is created;
