Rep. Steve King To Give Keynote Speech at ISA’s 2004 International Sign Expo...The Congressman from Iowa brings 28 years of small-business experience

Alexandria, VA -- Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), a fierce advocate of the rights of small businesses, will be this year’s keynote speaker at ISA’s International Sign Expo, April 14-17, in Orlando, Fla.

King, a relative newcomer to Congress, is a committed fiscal and social conservative who took his Iowa values with him when he went to serve in Washington. He serves on three House committees, including the Committee on Small Business, where he is involved in the Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform and Oversight, and the Subcommittee on Workforce, Empowerment & Government Programs. He also serves on the Committee on Judiciary, where he works on the Subcommittee on the Constitution, which conducts oversight regarding the state of constitutionally protected property rights.

In Congress, King works to fight burdensome government regulation and red tape—just the sort of bureaucracy that plagues the sign industry. He understands the challenges of starting and operating a business firsthand, and he brings with him 28 years of business know-how to Congress.

ISA’s annual exposition is the world’s largest sign show and was named last year by Tradeshow Weekly magazine as one of the Top 200 tradeshows in America. The International Sign Expo is the most effective way for sign industry professionals to meet new people, discover new techniques and products, and gather the information they need to take their businesses to the next level. For more information about the expo, visit www.signexpo.org.
