VUTEk® Europe Expands With Appointment Of A New Area Sales Manager

VUTEk® Inc., the world's leading supplier of superwide format inkjet printers to the graphics arts market, has appointed Antonio Castańo as Area Sales Manager. Responsible for managing one of several European sales teams, Antonio will help VUTEk® develop its market share and continue to improve service to customers.

Antonio brings nearly 20 years of invaluable graphic arts knowledge to the role. With his European experience, Antonio understands the different traditions and values that make every country unique. Based at VUTEk's European headquarters in Belgium, Antonio will grow VUTEk's business by targeting each country individually, including Spain, Portugal, Greece, Yugoslavia and Serbia.

Commenting on his new position, Antonio says, 'I wanted to work with the best and VUTEk® certainly is that. I believe that a combination of high quality products and a very knowledgeable workforce is what makes VUTEk® such a successful company.'

'VUTEk® has got a very good reputation - I want to build upon this and develop a rapport with each customer to fully understand their requirements and markets. Throughout his career, Antonio's photographic experience and qualifications have enabled him to understand clients from the photolab, signmaking and printing industries, and this will be an asset when working with each VUTEk® customer.

Antonio continues, 'I am really enthusiastic about developing and further improving VUTEk's relationship with customers and distributors throughout Europe. I have a great deal of knowledge about the markets in each individual country and this will really help as we identify key areas to target.

'Being honest and building trust with customers is very important when establishing a long-term relationship. By communicating with customers and helping them expand, VUTEk® will also grow.'

Antonio's appointment follows that of Glyn Evans who joined VUTEk® earlier this year as Director of European Services and Support.
