Xaar Introduces the Xaar Color + XV Ink Series

Continuing to support the development of high-quality approved inks for the digital inkjet market, Xaar plc and ink partner Sericol, are pleased to announce the Xaar Color+ XV Ink Series - a range of high-performance pigmented solvent-based inks which have been specifically developed for use with the recently launched Xaar XJ126/200 and high-speed XJ128/200 plus printheads. Ideal for wide format scanning applications and designed to achieve high-quality results on a variety of graphic arts substrates, including banner grade PVC, self adhesive vinyl, textile mesh and paper, the Xaar Color+ XV Ink Series boasts superior lightfastness properties, making them perfect for durable outdoor applications. In addition, the inks have been formulated for rapid dry times on substrates without the application of heat ­ typical dry times for the inks on vinyl for example are 60 seconds at 40˚C. The new ink series also shows excellent resistance to abrasion, water and common solvents when used on recommended materials.

The Xaar Color+ XV Ink Series is available in the process colours: cyan, light-cyan, magenta, light-magenta, yellow and black. The inks come with a shelf life of twelve months from the date of manufacturing when stored between 5˚C and 30˚C.
