New Process Pro™ Color Foils from Gerber Create Richer Four-Color Images

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. -- GERBER EDGE® users who create four-color process images now have access to deeper, richer CMYK color tones as well as the convenience of Gerber’s innovative GerberGauge™ foil measuring system… all by virtue of a new process color foil series entitled GerberColor™ Process Pro.

The new foils replace the company’s popular SUPER CMYK™ series, which is slated for eventual phase-out.

Gerber’s Process Pro foils represent a reformulation of its existing CMYK foils. While Process Pro closely matches SUPER CMYK in terms of its full-color application qualities and three-year outdoor durability, it does offer three very important advantages over its predecessor.

First, it creates more striking graphics through a richer range of color output. This improved color range is further enhanced when these foils are used in tandem with Gerber’s new STC halftone dot pattern for even more photo-realistic images. Second, Process Pro features GerberGauge, an easy-to-read, ‘length remaining’ marking system imprinted along the foil’s edge, which clearly indicates ­ in yards and meters ­ the amount of material remaining in the cartridge. GerberGauge provides the most accurate means to manage customers’ foil-to-application usage, improving productivity by eliminating the material loss that sometimes results from running out of a process color part-way through a printing job.

And third, images generated via Process Pro are even more abrasion resistant, meaning they stand up more effectively to everyday handling and abuse.
