Kasper Receives International Sign Association’s Kirk L. Brimly Distinguished Service Award
Alexandria, VA -- Daniel Kasper, former Chairman of the Board of the International Sign Association (ISA), was presented the Kirk L. Brimley Distinguished Service Award during the keynote breakfast at the International Sign Expo in Orlando, Fla., April 14-17, 2004.
“Dan’s vision and tenacity has contributed significantly to the present success of our organization,” said ISA Chairman of the Board Greg McCarter. “His dedication, wisdom, and expertise continue to be valuable assets to the ISA Board of Directors and staff.”
The Kirk L. Brimley Distinguished Service Award is an annual award given to an ISA member who demonstrates outstanding dedication and service to the association.
Kasper served as a director of ISA and its predecessor organization, the National Electric Sign Association, from 1992, and as Chairman of the Board in 1996. He is currently providing the ISA staff with leadership and support as the association searches for a new president.
Kasper is the Chairman of Harmon Sign Planet Neon in Toledo, Ohio. He is also past president of the Midwest Sign Association and the Toledo Area Sign Contractors’ Association.
ISA is a 2,200 member organization composed of manufacturers, users, and suppliers of on-premise signs and sign products produced by more than 400,000 employees in all 50 states and 69 foreign countries. ISA exists to support, promote, and improve the $30 billion-a-year sign industry, which sustains the nation’s nearly $3 trillion-a-year retail industry.
