VUTEk® receives enthusiastic reception for launch of PressVu® UV 200/600 SC at drupa 2004
VUTEk® Inc., the leading supplier of superwide format digital inkjet
printers, reports huge interest in its new PressVu® UV 200/600 SC, launched
at drupa 2004. With an unprecedented number of orders taken over the 14 day
period, VUTEk® is excited about the reception given to its low cost,
two-in-one, rigid and flexible printer. Priced to extend the high quality,
high speed and reliability benefits of VUTEk® PressVu® UV printers to
customers, the new PressVu® UV 200/600 clearly hit its targets.

With prices starting at only EUR199,000, the PressVu® UV 200/600 is designed
specifically for commercial imaging shops that wish to achieve high-end
image quality and greater productivity.
The UV-curing PressVu® UV 200/600 digital inkjet printer delivers stunning
four- and six-color, 600 dpi, photographic color reproduction and crisp text
reproduction. Available in four- and six-color models, it can print in
widths up to 80 inches (2 meters) at 350 square feet per hour (33 square
meters per hour).
Another of the main attractions of the PressVu® UV 200/600, is its ability
to print on both roll-to-roll and rigid substrates. Rigid materials can
measure up to 1.75 inches (4.45 centimeters) thick, and comes with a
standard set of rigid tables - further tables can be added for handling
longer board sizes.
The quick and easy switch between roll-to-roll and rigid materials can be
completed by one person, enabling operators to spend more time printing and
less time setting up. This two-printer-in-one capability allows commercial
imaging shops to expand its services and satisfy a nearly infinite variety
of long-term outdoor and indoor applications - increasing value to customers
and driving up profitability.
