VUTEk® To Display Innovative Printers At Photokina 2004: Hall 14.1, Isle D11/E10

VUTEk® Inc., the leading supplier of superwide format digital inkjet printers, will exhibit the all-new PressVu® UV 200/600 digital inkjet printer and its UltraVu® superwide solvent-based printers at the upcoming Photokina Trade Fair. Photokina is a dynamic exhibition for the photo lab and digital imaging industries that takes place in Cologne, Germany, September 28 - October 3, 2004.

The PressVu® UV 200/600 is designed specifically for photo lab and digital imaging customers looking to achieve high-end image quality and greater productivity at an affordable cost.

The PressVu® UV 200/600 digital inkjet printer is loaded with features that its owners would expect to find on more expensive models - like stunning four- and six-color, 600 dpi capabilities that deliver photographic color reproduction and crisp text reproduction. Virtually limitless versatility and industrial-strength construction features allow operators to print on a variety of sheet-fed or roll-to-roll materials around the clock - like having two-printers-in-one.

Available in four- and six-color models, the PressVu® UV 200/600 can print up to 80 inches (2 meters) wide at 350 square feet per hour (33 square meters per hour). It prints on rigid materials up to 1.75 inches (4.45 centimeters) thick. The PressVu® UV 200/600 comes standard with a set of rigid extension tables and easily accommodates the addition of others for handling of longer board sizes.

The UltraVu® 3360 EC is the ideal solution for high quality, eight-color printing of long term outdoor graphics, wall murals, P-O-P advertising, banners and signage, posters, bus wraps, transit shelters, stage graphics, vehicle graphics, backlit displays, exhibition graphics, and many other applications. The UltraVu® 3360 EC prints on a variety of flexible substrates including paper, vinyl, mesh, pressure sensitive and other materials up to 3 meters (10 feet) wide. With a print resolution of 360 dpi, the UltraVu® 3360EC converts easily and quickly from super Fast-4(tm) color printing to high quality, eight-color printing.
