Roland Adds To Marketing & IT Departments

Irvine, CA. -- Roland DGA Corporation has added three important positions to its Marketing and IT departments to accommodate robust sales growth. Barry Johnston is Roland’s new Product Marketing Manager; Neil Zdunkawicz is Roland’s new Market Research Analyst; and Bob Castle joins the company as Chief Information Officer.

“Roland DGA is experiencing unprecedented sales growth across all of its product lines, including inkjet printers, engravers and 3D CAD/CAM devices,” said Brian McLeod, Roland DGA VP of Marketing. “In their newly created positions, Barry Johnston and Neil Zdunkawicz will help the marketing department keep up with the growing demand for our products.”

“By improving Roland’s flow of information, Bob Castle will have Roland primed for even more success in the years to come,” said Bruce Lauper, Roland DGA Chief Operating Officer.

Barry Johnston has over 12 years of experience in the sign and graphics industries and previously served as Roland’s Sales Specialist for Supplies & Accessories. As the new Product Marketing Manager, Johnston will oversee the product management group and work closely with Roland’s Creative and the Marketing Communications teams. He will also maintain ongoing product support to Roland dealers and customers.

Neil Zdunkawicz is also a long-time veteran in the sign making industry. He has extensive sales and marketing experience with a wide range of products, including vinyl cutters and wide format printers. Previously, Zdunkawicz served as Product Manager for Roland CX Series and STIKA vinyl cutters. As Roland’s new Market Research Analyst, Zdunkawicz will research market conditions, determine market trends and measure customer satisfaction to help guide Roland sales, marketing and services.

Bob Castle ­ a new Roland employee ­ was previously the General Manager of a $6 million high technology business unit. Castle brings over 20 years of proven technical engineering and executive team experience. As the new Chief Information Officer, he will direct the growth of the IT department and provide strategic guidance for making information quickly available throughout Roland DGA and its extensive dealer network.
