The Future Is Here for Specialty Graphic Imaging Forward-Looking Industry Developments Featured at SGIA ’04
FAIRFAX, VA - “Looking forward” in terms of market trends, business operations and technical developments is the emphasis of more than 50 educational programs for the SGIA ‘04/DPI Conference, October 6-9 this year at the Minneapolis Convention Center in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
Featured Future Forums will discuss new markets and opportunities in narrow-format digital printing (non-document), as well as how to manage color for multiple technologies.
“We have a strong line-up of textile programs,” too, notes Al Anderson, SGIA’s Vice President for Education & Management Services. “Three workshops focus on better ways to print T-shirts, two are geared to embroiderers, and one workshop is for garment printers seeking to learn how to take on jobs other than T-shirts.” The conference will also offer many screen printing workshops.
Digital (basic and advanced), graphics, industrial, and textile imaging and printing - as well as timely management issues - will be intensively spotlighted throughout the four days of the SGIA ‘04/DPI Conference- Minneapolis.

The Association is partnering with a number of industry publications to ensure that it delivers the finest in educational programming. Among this year’s “publishing partners” are Big Picture (wide-format digital), Signs of the Times (signage), Stitches (embroidery), Screen Printing (screen printing), Impressions (textiles) and WideFormat Imaging (reprography).
