"Choosing Your Graphic Display Board Is Easier Than Ever" is the overall theme of three new literature pieces that describe product features and benefits as well as provide fabrication and application guidelines for the Sintra®, Dibond®, Gator™ and Fome-Cor® graphic display board lines by Alcan Composites USA.

These new literature pieces were created as a result of the Alcan, Inc., acquisition of the Uniwood/Fome-Cor Board business from Nevamar Company in October 2003

"Both of our businesses offered leading brands of graphic display boards backed by outstanding customer and technical service," said David Meacham, marketing manager, Alcan Composites USA. "Together, our product offering - including Sintra, Dibond, Fome-Cor and Gatorfoam® graphic display boards - is stronger than ever before. We created this literature not only to educate our graphic display partners to our greatly expanded product offering but to help them select the most appropriate graphic display board to meet their specific project requirements."

These literature pieces were created as part of the Alcan Composites USA new marketing communications program entitled, "It's What Legends Are Made Of - Create Your Own." The three "Choosing Your Graphic Display Board Is Easier Than Ever" literature pieces include:

• Product Information Guide- This four-color piece folds outs to reveal a handy reference chart of all Alcan Composites USA graphic display boards listed top to bottom from lowest to highest price range starting with ValuBoard™, a Fome-Cor specialty product designed for cost-effective point-of-purchase displays, and ending with the "Ultimate Substrate" Dibond, an aluminum composite designed for long-term interior displays and exterior signage. Individual product information includes sheet construction, applications, reasons for choosing each board, gauges/colors, stock sheet sizes, fabricating techniques, forming techniques, flammability characteristics and outdoor usage recommendations.
• Application Guide- This one-page four-color guide lists all Alcan Composites USA graphic display boards from lowest to highest price range with appropriate applications - including point-of-purchase displays, exhibits and kiosks, framing (standard and archival), signage (interior and exterior) and structural signage - designated for each board. The appropriateness of each product for short-term, medium-term and long-term applications also is listed.
• Fabrication Guide- This one-page four-color guide lists all Alcan Composites USA graphic display boards from lowest to highest price range with appropriate fabrication techniques highlighted, including: mounting, repositioning vinyl, direct digital printing, direct screen printing, painting, knife cutting, saw cutting, routing, die cutting, embossing, forming curves and framing.
