PRO SIGN 2004 attracts new exhibitors
Three months before PRO SIGN 2004 opens its doors in Frankfurt, organiser Reed Exhibitions are registering growing interest: at present, 145 exhibitors from 19 countries have already confirmed they will be taking part in the International Trade Fair for Visual Advertising Techniques and Digital Printing from October 21 23, where the entire spectrum of the international signmaking industry will be on display. This means that two thirds of the last event's area has already been booked. In 2002 the event attracted 179 exhibitors from 23 countries, presenting their products and services on 14,500 m² of exhibition space.
The exhibitors come from all areas of the visual advertising sector and will be showcasing the entire spectrum of signmaking and digital printing techniques. Exhibitors include Spandex plc. or Universal Laser Systems GmbH of Vienna, engraving technology specialists who will be displaying computer-controlled laser engraving and cutting plotters, and Agfa Gevaert with inkjet media for poster printing and screenprinting. The field of digital printing will be covered by the machine makers NUR Europe S.A., Mimaki Engineering, Co. Ltd., LFP Plotter from Japan and the company Lüscher whose products are shown by their distribution partner ComPack. The signmaking sector will be represented by such names as Frankfurter Fahnen Jungmann GmbH, Berliner Stoffdruckerei GmbH, D 3 Systeme GmbH (Displays), Gemini Products from the USA and Channel letter.
Visitors to the event will be treated to an extensive supporting programme. In addition to the two-day Adobe workshop there will be different events on the subject of "Financing - Basel II Successor Issues", a media production day and a FAW learnshop. There will also be plenty of tips and tricks regarding large-format printing.
