Laser Systems Distributor C.E.M. Relocates SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. ? Universal Laser Systems, Inc. (ULS) announces the relocation of one of their distributors, C.E.M., to a larger facility in Southern California. C.E.M. has been in business since 1986 and has been a ULS distributor for over ten years. Due to various reasons, including the need for a larger facility, C.E.M. purchased their new building in Santa Ana. The new space is 2,000 square feet and can accommodate one of Universal?s new XL Series machines, enabling C.E.M. to demonstrate its capabilities to customers. According to owner Mike Mackenzie, ?In order to control rent and operating expenses, I decided to purchase the building instead of renting it. In addition to the obvious tax benefits, this new building gives us more flexibility in bringing in new equipment for demonstrations, holding training classes, and providing improved customer service and support.? In fact, C.E.M., along with Matt Gusse of Laser IT Sales & Service, will be hosting a seminar in September geared toward embroiderers, sporting goods dealers, sign shops, and other businesses that focuses on expanding their businesses with a laser system. With steady growth over their 18-year history, as well as providing value-added services to prospects and customers, C.E.M. is poised to continue its excellent track record of selling, servicing, and supporting ULS laser systems. C.E.M.?s territory is Southern California from Paso Robles south to the Mexican border and also Hawaii.
