MAGIC® FAB-6 MEDIA HELPS MIMAKI WIN PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AT 2004 DPI CONFERENCE

SOUTH HADLEY, MA ­ InteliCoat Technologies, a world leader in the manufacture of coated paper, film and specialty substrates for imaging and electronic technologies, is pleased to announce that its Magic® FAB-6 indoor/outdoor fabric banner played a critical role in Mimaki’s Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) recent product of the year award. Mimaki’s JV22-160 printer received top honors in the fabric print category with an image printed on Magic FAB-6 fabric banner. The award was announced at the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) trade show, held in conjunction with the DPI Conference, which took place in Minneapolis, October 6-9, 2004.

Magic FAB-6 is a 6.8 mil 100% polyester-woven fabric ideal for producing flags, displays, window decorations, pop-up displays and window backlits. Its unique ink jet coating provides compatibility with a wide variety of thermal and water-based piezo printer systems.
