Scanvec Amiable and Canon Sales Japan Partner to offer a New Controller for Canon’s Color Copier CLC 1100 series

Philadelphia, PA ­ October 27, 2004 ­ Scanvec Amiable (OTCBB: SVECF) announced today a major new business initiative. Scanvec Amiable has developed a software and hardware system for the color copier market which will be distributed by Canon Sales Japan. This system, called Pingo is designed to expand a color copier to a fully networked digital printer. Canon Sales Japan has signed a distribution agreement with Scanvec Amiable to sell Pingo with their CLC 1100 series.

Pingo Accelerated RIP Server expands the line-up of exclusive controllers for the CLC 1100 series. Pingo is a turn-key, hardware and software solution, designed to expand the Canon CLC copier into a full-color digital network printing suite. Pingo delivers fast, accurate, yet affordable, color printing results for a large variety of file types, and its characteristics are an excellent cost performance solution.
