Alcan Composites USA Releases New Interactive Tools to Help Creative Professionals

Unique interactive tools designed to make it easy for creative professionals to select the best graphic display board for their projects from the well-known Sintra®, Gator™, Fome-Cor® and Dibond® brands are highlights of the completely new web site launched by Alcan Composites USA at www.alcancompositesusa.com.

The Alcan Composites USA web site features a new graphic design and expanded product information within easy-to-navigate sections, as well as site search capabilities. The site's home page welcomes visitors with the enticement that "Choosing Your Graphic Display Board Is Easier Than Ever"¯. From the home page, visitors may review the latest news from Alcan Composites USA or jump to several web site sections, including Our Products and VIP Access, which are described as follows:

Our Products. A unique interactive product selector tool allows web site visitors to choose the best graphic display board for their projects from the Sintra, Gator, Fome-Cor and Dibond lines by inputting information about the application and how it will be fabricated, as well as material specifications, including color, sheet thickness and sheet size. As each question is asked and answered, appropriate graphic display boards ­ listed from the least expennsive for short-term use to the most expensive for long-term use ­ are highlighted in white. When all project innformation is inputted, a final recommendation for appropriate graphic display boards will be available for print.

Web site visitors may also go directly to product information describing: Sintra, a lightweight yet rigid board of moderately expanded PVC; and Dibond, an aluminum composite material made of two pre-painted sheets of .012ā€¯ aluminum with a solid polyethylene core. Fome-Cor product line information is provided for original Fome-Cor board, the extruded polystyrene foam board with clay-coated paper liners, as well as for specialty Acid-Free Fome-Cor, Self-Adhesive Fome-Cor, Heat-Activated Fome-Cor, Foam-XĀ® Recovery, JetMount® and ValuBoard™. Gator product line information is provided for Gatorfoam®, an extruded polystyrene foam board bonded between two layers of wood-fiber veneer, as well as for specialty Gatorblanks®, GatorLite™ and Gatorplast®.
