Scitex Vision Appoints Steve Vandenburg and Clay Mizelle as District Sales Managers
Scitex Vision America Appoints Steve Vanderburg District Sales Manager For Southeastern US Screen Market
Scitex Vision America, Inc., has appointed Steve Vanderburg district sales manager for the southeastern US screen market. Vanderburg is responsible for the sale of Scitex Vision digital printing presses and inks to screen printers for multiple industrial applications including wide format graphic arts and textiles. His territory includes the states of Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee.
“We are very pleased to welcome Steve Vanderburg to the Scitex Vision America organization,” said Steve Zunde, president of Scitex Vision America. “Bringing Steve on board - with his high level of technical knowledge and long-standing rapport with printers - is an important step in continuing to build on our base of direct customer support in the screen printing market.”
Vanderburg has more than 20 years experience in all major areas of the screen and digital printing industries and has worked with many printers in the Southeast during that time. He comes to Scitex Vision America from Sefar America where he had served as senior territory manager since 1995. At Sefar America he was responsible for distributor and branch sales and product and application training for sales representatives and end user surveys. In addition, he was actively involved in advising and assisting large customers in areas including: process application for screen making, product application, process control, use of chemicals, screen stretching equipment, digital printing equipment - both standard and large format and pre-press equipment.
His previous associations include territory, national, and international management positions with Flexible Products, Precision Screen, Colonial Printing Inks and Allison Manufacturing.
“I enjoy working with people in the screen and digital printing industries and I believe I have the broad-based experience not only to sell and support Scitex Vision’s products, but to help these customers in a very real way to achieve their production and business objectives,” said Vanderburg. “I look forward to working on the high-growth digital side of this market.”
Vanderburg is a graduate of Pfeiffer University, North Carolina, with a double major in economics and business administration. He resides in Albemarle, North Carolina.
Scitex Vision America Appoints Clay Mizelle District Sales Manager For Ohio Valley Region
Scitex Vision America, Inc., has appointed Clay Mizelle district sales manager for the Ohio Valley Region of the US, responsible for the sale of Scitex Vision digital printing presses and inks for industrial applications including wide format graphic arts, packaging and textiles. Mizelle’s territory includes the states of Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, and Kentucky as well as Southern Indiana, Western Pennsylvania and Western New York.
“Clay Mizelle is a welcome addition to the Scitex Vision America organization,” said Steve Zunde, president of Scitex Vision America. “Clay is an enthusiastic and energetic professional with strong technical aptitude and more than 20 years of superior sales performance. Our customers will benefit from his responsiveness and his proven ability to analyze, identify and satisfy their needs while Scitex Vision will benefit from his activities in this important geographical market with its large base of screen and package printers.”
Mizelle comes to Scitex Vision America from Agfa Corporation where he served for 18 years. Most recently he was Agfa’s electronic systems account manager with responsibility for the sale of high-end electronic imaging systems and software solutions to the commercial printing and packaging markets. At Agfa he was recognized for sales achievement with membership in the President’s Club and the Diamond Club.
Mizelle’s previous associations include technical sales positions with Eastman Kodak Company.
“I am a firm believer in building long-term relationships based on trust and in developing and presenting creative, cost-effective solutions for my customers,” said Mizelle. “After many years of providing intermediate products, I am looking forward to providing the actual printing systems.”
Mizelle is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing. He and his family reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
