New Dibond® Brushed Gold By Alcan Composites USA Saves Fabrication Time, Materials When Creating Bold Metallic Looks

ST. LOUIS, MO ­ Alcan Composites USA has expanded its line of Dibond® ­ the Ultimate Substrate ­ with Dibond Brushed Gold graphic display board.

Dibond Brushed Gold is the second member of the Dibond Metal Series, which also includes Dibond Brushed Silver (formerly Dibond Butler Finish). Other Dibond colors include: white both sides, black over white, dark bronze over fine silver, hunter red over caution yellow and ultra marine blue over white.

Dibond is a rigid, durable aluminum composite material consisting of two pre-painted sheets of .012-inch aluminum bonded to a solid polyethylene core ­ a unique composition that makes it approximately one-half the weight of aluminum. Dibond, the flattest panel on the market, offers a superior surface that protects expensive digital and screen-printed graphics. Dibond won’t bow or oil can. Both new Dibond Brushed Gold and Dibond Brushed Silver are perfect for creating interior signage, exhibits and displays. Additionally, Dibond Brushed Silver provides excellent durability in outdoor applications. (Dibond Brushed Gold is not designed for exterior usage.)

New Dibond Brushed Gold and Dibond Brushed Silver feature polyester clear-coat applied over the brushed aluminum finish. This product offers significant cost savings, ease of fabrication and rigidity when compared to other aluminum laminates.
