Awards were presented today during a ceremony at ISA’s 2005 International Sign Expo in Las Vegas.
ISA also awarded three top prizes in the competition’s Junior Division, which is open to students enrolled in vocational, technical schools, high schools, colleges and universities, and who are sponsored by an ISA member company. This year’s winners are: First place—Nicole Schneider; Second place—Anthony Von Moos; Third place—Brett Lamb. All are students at the Perry Technical Institute, Yakima, Wash., and were sponsored by Ramsay Sign Co., Portland, Ore.
“The Sign Design contest is the only sign industry award that recognizes the talent of our designers,” said Wayne Burton, chairman of the competition. “A sign company that has an award-winning designer can promote this to its customers. So having a winner can increase your business.”
