Gerber’s ImagePerfect Product Line Expands with the Addition of Two New Banner Materials

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. - Gerber Scientific Products announced today the addition of two new banner materials to its growing product line of ImagePerfect materials, inks, and digital printing accessories.

Available for the GERBER ELAN XL and the soon-to-be-released GERBER SOLARA UV printer, Gerber’s ImagePerfect banner mesh (IP22501) and 13 oz. 1-sided banner (IP21503) are perfect for indoor and outdoor displays, tradeshow displays, hanging signs, point-of-sales and outdoor advertisements. Both of these banner materials are designed to work with Gerber’s ImagePerfect solvent and UV inks.

Designed to be used indoors as well as outdoors, ImagePerfect banner mesh is an opaque material that features a removable liner to capture excess ink. When used outdoors, the need for wind-pass cuts is virtually eliminated, saving labor and enhancing its appearance.

“Not only does the construction of our unique 54” wide banner mesh provide great internal strength for durability, but its smooth surface and regular hole pattern provides excellent print quality. Unlike traditional banners this mesh imparts a real upscale look and feel, which is a plus for all types of P.O.P. applications,” said Gary Soltoff, material product manager, Gerber Scientific Products.

ImagePerfect 13 oz. 1-sided banner features one-sided construction with exceptional outdoor durability. It has a smooth surface and is designed to meet high resolution printing demands for consistent dot gain and predictable color clarity and accuracy.

Soltoff noted, “We developed the mesh and 13 oz. 1-sided products to complement our current line of ImagePerfect banner material offerings. These two new formats are cost-effective intermediate solutions with a semi-gloss face film and are available in both 45.5” and 59.5” widths.”
