COOLEY Announces dreamScape™ Wall Coverings

Pawtucket, RI — Cooley Digital Products annoounces DreamScape™ decorative vinyl wall covering substrates for digital printing. DreamScape is an ink jet printable vinyl substrate that is available in 12 standard textured surfaces as well a number of custom surfaces. DreamScape can be used as a residential or commercial wall covering for hotels, restaurants, and conference rooms or virtually anywhere wall coverings are found. Typical applications for dreamscape include wall coverings, borders, murals, indoor sign displays, and trade show and indoor banners.

DreamScape products are unique in that they use vinyl compound that has been formulated to maximize the output capabilities of today's solvent-based printers. Additionally, the uniquely embossed surface tends to hide some print artifacts like micro banding, allowing a printer to print a lower resolution at higher speeds. DreamScape's embossing adds a new dimension to digitally printed images.

DreamScape is designed to provide easy installation utilizing conventional heavy-duty wall covering paste application materials and techniques. More importantly, DreamScape is also designed for easy removal. DreamScape is specifically designed to pass all smoke and flame test requirements for indoor wall coverings (NFPA 265 & 286, CCCW 408 and ASTM E84).

DreamScape can be used with all solvent and eco-solvent inkjet printers, (solvent printers will have better abrasion resistance vs. eco-solvent printers) and UV printers, (caution should be used due to flexibility of UV inks and note that aqueous based printers will not work with DreamScape).

DreamScape is available in twelve different textures, in 20 oz. weights. Standard widths are 54" X 100 yards, with custom sizes of 30" 48" and 60" widths, in rolls of 25 and 50-yard rolls available upon request.
