CLEAR FOCUS Launches CurvaLam™ Conformable Overlaminate

SANTA ROSA, CA ­ CLEAR FOCUS Imaging, Inc. is pleased to introduce CurvaLam™, a clear gloss, highly conformable, PVC overlaminating film to complement its line of One Way Vision™ perforated vinyl films. Providing optimal clarity, CurvaLam is ideally suited for use with CLEAR FOCUS ClassicVue film for vehicle graphics applications, where window curvature is an issue. It is also designed for use with the company’s inkjet-printable JetVue™ and new ImageJetVue™ window-graphics films, especially when printed with dye-based inks. CurvaLam is compatible with all CLEAR FOCUS perforated vinyl films, as well as other manufacturers’ vinyl substrates.

Offering excellent outdoor durability and dimensional stability, CurvaLam is a 1.65-mil solvent cast PVC film designed for use on flat, curved or riveted surfaces. It is coated on one side with an ultra-clear permanent solvent acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive and supported by a clear polyester release liner. CurvaLam features outstanding conformability to prevent tunneling, wrinkling and cracking. It also prevents dirt and water from collecting in the film’s holes. Additional UV protection is incorporated into the overlaminate to help resist color fade caused by UV rays.

CurvaLam is available in 100-foot rolls in widths of 36 and 54 inches. CLEAR FOCUS also offers ClearLam™, a clear polyester, pressure-sensitive overlaminating film for use on flat surfaces.
