BondCote Introduces Digital Printing Fabric --lightweight materail accepts high-resolution digital printing

Dublin, VA - ­ BondCote Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high performance coated and laminated fabrics, announced today that it has developed DIGI-PRINT- a new line of lightweight digital media fabrics. These new materials are especially well suited to the sign, banner and inflatable industries.

After more than 18 months of intensive laboratory and in-the-field testing, the company created a proprietary coating that offers optimal surface tension for high-resolution printing. This capability is especially important when printing with solvent-based inks utilized in wide-format digital printers. In addition, the fabric will also accept pressure-sensitive, adhesive-backed vinyl graphics.

Current products include 6 oz./yd2; 8 oz./yd2; and 12 oz./yd2 coated polyester fabrics. The material is produced in white with widths of 61” ­ 63”, and capabilities up to 72”. Slitting is also available.
