Graphtec Announces Change in Customer Service Operating Hours.
Graphtec America, Inc., a leading manufacturer of precision imaging products for the sign making, graphics, and computer-aided design industries announced today that effective Monday, October 31, 2005, Customer Service hours will return to their originally scheduled hours of operation of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST (10:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. EST). The company’s toll-free Technical Support department will maintain its extended hours of 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST (8:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. EST).
Graphtec America, Inc., known for its emphasis on customer satisfaction, had been providing extended Customer Service support beginning at 5:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. PST (8:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. EST) for the last few months. During this trial period it became clear that there were minimal demands in the early morning hours and greater demands in the afternoon. Responding to a broader base of customer’s needs, Mr. Arakawa, President and CEO of Graphtec America, Inc., revised its Customer Service hours to provide service where demand is greatest. Sales orders received by facsimile prior to 7:30 am PST will be processed at the beginning of regular operating hours.
