PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 1, 2005

New LED Sign is Up in the Air.

Floating LED displays brings BIG advertising opportunities for American Blimp Corporation.

Clearwater, FL, October 22, 2005…..HiTech Electronic Displays today announces the release of a new generation of LED technology that is lightweight, moldable, and can convert a standard blimp into a giant floating television. The display was created by HiTech Electronic Displays of Clearwater, FL for American Blimp its subsidiary Lightship Group located in Orlando, FL.

The new American Blimp display features an energy efficient design composed of lightweight heat resistant, waterproof strips containing light emitting diode clusters. The sign stands 30 feet high and 70 feet wide and contains 337,920 LEDs. HiTech Electronics innovative system requires only 100 amps at 200 volts and can run off of a truck battery! The typical weight for a display of this size is 11,000 pounds. The new lightweight material and special engineering reduce the weight to less than 1,000 pounds allowing the blimp to take flight.

The sign is 128 pixels X 240 pixels wide but can be custom designed in virtually any configuration to meet any customer’s specification. The sign is capable of presenting full color video at night and 32 shades of red during the day. The display can easily be seen from as far as 2 miles away. “We now have an exciting new interactive media platform available day and night.” says James Thiele. American Blimp President. “We’re very happy with the performance of this new display.”

A video of the display during its recent test flight will be shown on November 17th at the amusement industry’s largest worldwide gathering IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005 Annual Conference and Trade Show, being held November 14-19, 2005 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia. The expo is the perfect place to showcase this new product worldwide. Buyers representing 85 different countries and the worlds most prominent parks and attractions attend this show.
