- The 2 day course structure will cover advanced Onyx Postershop RIP operations and Color Management/Media Profiling functions.
- NLC’s new Atlanta Distribution and Training Center offers formal classroom and hands-on demo/training facilities and will broaden their training course offerings in the near future.
- NLC welcomes Rick Lucas as lead instructor for Color Management curriculum.
- Gretag and X-Rite color management tools will be used and promoted during the class session.
- Scheduled classes begin in November and will repeat monthly. New schedules will be published quarterly.

North Light Color, Inc., a leading distributor of wide-format digital printing systems, supplies and service, announces their Onyx Workflow/Color Management Training at their all new Atlanta Distribution and Training Center.
Northlight’s Atlanta facility has incorporated a state of the art 2500 sq/ft production/demo department capable of training customers on full production workflow in a live environment. Formal classrooms exceed 800 sq/ft and will seat up to 20 students. These classrooms are available for Color Management, RIP software training, and other related courses such as “How to Sell Large Format Output”. In addition, NLC will be offering regular training courses on Fleet Graphics and Installation with instructors who are certified by the PDAA (Professional Decal Application Association) and UASG (United Application Standards Group).
Mike Rose, VP & General Manager of the Atlanta facility said: North Light Color is proud to welcome Rick Lucas as lead instructor for the Onyx Workflow/Color Management Training course. Rick has been working in the graphics industries since graduating from RIT in 1976. Since 1998 Rick has been working as an independent consultant specializing in quality control, color management, digital photography, scanning and other workflow/productivity solutions. Rose went on to say; Mr. Lucas is certified with many industry standard color management software packages and hardware platforms, as well as popular RIP's including Onyx.
