Bigger, Better SGIA Expo Means More Opportunity

SGIA '06 headed toward greater numbers of exhibitors, floor space, opportunity

Fairfax, Virginia — "If this trend continues, SGIA '06 will be the largest expo in recent memory," said Sylvia Hall, SGIA Vice President, Conventions & Conferences, noting that SGIA expects more than 500 exhibitors at the event, scheduled for the Las Vegas Convention Center, September 2629.

Recent statistics from SGIA indicate SGIA '06 will exceed other shows in terms of the number of exhibitors as well as the amount of exhibiting floor space. To date, there are almost 25 percent more SGIA '06 exhibitors registered right now than there were at this point in the pre-show process for SGIA '05, and one out of every 10 is new to the expo.

"The size and quality of the SGIA '06 exhibitor base is real plus, because it means there's a huge array of the latest equipment, consumables and services available for all of the important markets and processes specialty imagers tap into," added SGIA President/CEO Michael Robertson.

SGIA '06 exhibitors represent the wide range of specialty imaging markets including graphics production, sign making, garment decorating, textile printing and embroidery.

Start planning now to attend the show, Robertson suggested, by signing up to be among the first to learn when SGIA '06 registration opens. And visit the SGIA '06 Web site — especially the SGIA Virtual Trade Show. VTS visitors have access to a keyword search that cuts down on the time needed to find a type of product, and each SGIA '06 exhibitor's VTS booth will link to a live, interactive floor plan for easy pre-show planning.
