Roland University To Offer Roland wRAP Session Vehicle Graphics Workshop
Irvine, CA - Roland DGA Corporation, a leading provider of wide-format inkjet printers and integrated print/cutters, today announced Roland wRAP Session, an exciting new Roland University course focused on the rapidly growing vehicle graphics market.
Scheduled for July 10th 11th at the Roland University training center in Irvine, California, the Roland wRAP Session will teach participants how to take a vehicle graphics job from design to installation. Attendees will learn how to get optimum results from their Roland printer including an overview of media and laminating options. Industry professionals will demonstrate the tools and techniques involved and provide hands-on instruction in the proper way to apply digitally printed graphics.
“Roland inkjet printers and integrated printer/cutters are ideally suited for vehicle graphics applications, providing the precision, versatility and exceptional print quality required for this market,” said Brian McLeod, managing director for Roland’s Color Products Division. “The Roland wRAP Session Workshop is designed to teach professionals how to leverage this technology for a successful career in vehicle graphics. In addition to receiving in-depth technical instruction, attendees will participate in hands-on demonstrations on a variety of vehicle graphics applications from intricate decals to full wraps.”
Innovative Print/Cut Technology
Roland's integrated print/cut technology is the foundation for the company’s 30” and 54” VersaCAMMs and 54” SOLJET SC-545EX. These wide-format printer/cutters feature a one-step operation for the production of complex sign and vehicle graphics, printing and then automatically contour cutting images on one device without any steps in between. As a result, they are well suited for long unattended production runs.
Roland print/cut technology enables professionals a wide range of creative choices for personalizing and incorporating marketing messages onto a vehicle. Full wraps, partial wraps, decals, window film, pinstriping, protective bras and even wheel wraps are quickly and easily produced. Both laminated and unlaminated graphics can be precision contour cut for custom results.
For larger print-only applications, Roland offers its SOLJET and AdvancedJET inkjet printers ranging in size from 54” to 104.” Ideal for large vehicle and fleet wraps, these printers meet the industry’s highest standards for speed and performance.
All Roland inkjets deliver outstanding durability with ink sets designed for scratch, water, and UV resistance up to 3 years outdoors.
