FASTSIGNS® Promotes Matt Miles to Director of Franchise Services, Special Projects

CARROLLTON, Texas — FASTSIGNS International, Inc., a sign and graphics franchisor with nearly 500 locations worldwide, has promoted Matt Miles, formerly the company’s operations project manager, to the director of franchise services, special projects.

In his new role, Miles will be responsible for leading FASTSIGNS® staff and franchisees to evaluate, develop and implement programs including the new pricing model, router and engraving support for FASTSIGNS® centers, new tools for communicating with franchisees, and improving production efficiency throughout the centers. He will also coordinate the resale process for FASTSIGNS® franchisees.

“Matt has been instrumental in the success of many of our most recent projects and is truly a valuable contributor to our company,” said Susan Last, senior vice president of franchise services. “He has championed many of the programs and services customers encounter in our stores today. He is perfectly suited for this new role, having the necessary background and work experience in franchise services to help our stores succeed and grow their businesses.”

Miles has worked within FASTSIGNS International’s corporate office for six years, where he first served as a franchise business consultant (FBC). He was promoted to director of special support in 2001, and most recently held the role of operations project manager, where he developed FASTSIGNS® new pricing model, Good, Better, Best—currently utilized throughout the FASTSIGNS® chain. In addition to the new pricing model, Miles has been closely associated with a variety of services and studies during his tenure, including the Back of the House Work Flow Study, Dynamic Digital Signage research and more.

Prior to joining FASTSIGNS International, Miles spent 20 years in the multi-unit foodservice management industry as a regional manager on corporate contract dining for prominent national clients such as IBM®. Miles resides in Frisco, Texas.

FASTSIGNS International, Inc. is the worldwide franchisor of FASTSIGNS® centers, which are located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom and Australia (where centers operate under the SIGNWAVE® name). Focusing on the needs of the business community, FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics centers offer a full range of custom sign and graphic products, including large-format, full color graphics; banners; window and vehicle graphics; floor graphics; safety and identification signage; trade show displays and exterior signage.
