Garment Printing Expert Matthew Rhome Named to Lead Sawgrass Cotton Imaging Team

Sawgrass Technologies, Inc., a leading global innovator of digital ink technologies, announced today that the company has appointed Matthew Rhome as its Director of Cotton Imaging, effective immediately.

Rhome joins Sawgrass with extensive industry experience, having spent more than 25 years in the design and implementation of both equipment and software for garment printers. Most recently, he served as senior marketing manager at Brother.

Cotton imaging is a central platform for Sawgrass’ patented technologies, including NaturaLinkTM and ChromaBlastTM. NaturaLinkTM is a patented dye and pigment ink technology for direct to cotton inkjet printing which, when heat-activated, forms a strong molecular bond for ink stability and durability, with the final image staying as soft as the garment itself. ChromaBlastTM combines a patented ink and media combination, using powerful ChromaBlastTM software that allows businesses of all sizes to decorate garments with a soft hand, vibrant color and superior washability.
