SGIA Recognizes Members' Longstanding Commitment - Approximately 512 SGIA members celebrate anniversaries
Fairfax, Virginia -- In 2007, more specialty imaging companies than ever before in SGIA's history received Continuous Membership Awards from the Association.
Approximately 512 SGIA members -- up 26 percent from 404 members honored in 2006 -- were recognized for their steadfast commitment to SGIA, which is noted in five-year interval anniversaries. For the first time in SGIA history, 12 companies received awards for their 60-year anniversaries as SGIA members.
Among the 512 members receiving awards:
- 275 are printing companies
- 201 are suppliers
- 27 are in-plant printers
- Nine are educators
"Members from 34 countries, including the United States, achieved amazing milestones with their commitment to SGIA and the specialty imaging community," said Sondra Fry Benoudiz, SGIA's Vice President of Marketing and Membership.
The majority of Continuous Membership Award recipients are based in the United States, with longtime international members residing in China (59), Canada (34), the Philippines (22), Australia (13) and Japan (seven), to name a few.
