Pro-Light™ 1 Series of Screen Exposing Units now with Digital Timer and High-Output Lamps

A.W.T. World Trade Inc. has reintroduced its Pro-Light™ 1 series of screen exposing units with a few notable upgrades. Foremost is the introduction of a digital timer for the exact exposure times that are so critical to many screen printers. According to industry experts, as many as 80% of screen printers may be underexposing their screens, but getting the critical emulsion hardness required for fine detail work is no longer a guessing game with the Pro-Light 1.

Featuring self ­contained light sources with a full vacuum frame, the Pro-Light 1’s banks of focused fluorescent tubes create an evenly distributed light profile for consistent screen exposure from corner to corner. The Pro-Light 1 is easy to use and yields professional results regardless of the operator’s experience level. A flexible rubber vacuum blanket helps maintain complete contact between film positive and mesh to prevent distortion, returning to its original shape after the exposure cycle has been completed. Higher-output blacklight lamps and a digital timer are both available as options with the standard Pro-Light 1.

For those who want the best, the Pro-Light 1 UV Spectrum Series features a standard digital timer with high-output UV lamps for faster exposure times. Depending on the type of emulsion or film, screens can be properly exposed in as little as 60 seconds. The unit can expose screens up to 54 x 96” (137 x 294cm), and all bench models can be equipped with an optional stand and storage shelf if desired. Depending on size, units come with 8, 22, or 30 lamps.
