AWA deploys LED circular screens powered by 1-2-1VIEW digital signage system

Amsterdam - Spanish wireless technology solutions provider AWAMedia has launched a high profile network of two circular LED screens and an interactive video wall using 1-2-1VIEW’s IP based digital signage system at the Telefonica Madrid Arena in Spain, with more locations to launch within the next months.

Announced at the Integrated Systems Europe Show in Amsterdam, the new system was put to the test at a charity tennis match on December 20, 2007, where world tennis number two Rafael Nadal and Real Madrid's goalkeeper Iker Casillas invited several athlete friends to tennis and soccer matches to support a Red Cross campaign to free the world from malaria.

Footage of the charity event was shown across the venue on two AWA-installed circular LED screens and one interactive video wall, powered by 1-2-1VIEW’s Ninja N207 IP media players.

The installation at the Arena is the first in a series of at least 60 deployments of 1-2-1VIEW’s systems AWAMedia has planned for this year in shopping malls and other retail environments across Spain, including the Canary Islands, Madrid, Murcia and Valencia.

Managed centrally out of AWAMedia’s head office using 1-2-1VIEW’s web-based management software, the system enables advertisers and agencies to schedule broadcast quality live video, real-time messaging, pre-encoded video and animated graphics on multiple screens across an entire network.
