Minicom Appoints Ingram Micro as its Distributor in Germany

Minicom Advanced Systems, the world leader in “last mile” digital signage distribution systems, has formed a strategic alliance with Ingram Micro EMEA, a division of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM), the world’s largest technology distributor to distribute its digital signage products in Germany. The move fits in with Ingram Micro’s plan to position itself as the leader in the booming digital signage market by providing an end-to-end package using products from market leaders such as Minicom, BroadSign and Philips. Ingram Micro intends thereby to provide a one-stop digital signage solution to the SMB market. The four company partnership is to be launched this week at Ingram Micro’s booth at the Digital Signage Expo in Essen, Germany (booth 15A.15).
