SGIA Celebrates Membership Longevity

Fairfax, Virginia -- Nearly a dozen specialty imaging companies have been affiliated with SGIA for half a century or more, according to the latest membership awards SGIA recently sent. Approximately 467 SGIA member companies enjoyed continuous membership of five years or more this year, receiving SGIA's Continuous Membership Award.

"These companies have seen the industry and SGIA evolve dramatically, even within the past five years," said SGIA President/CEO Michael Robertson. "We're excited to have them as a committed part of the SGIA community," he said, adding continuous membership awards are given to companies in five-year anniversary intervals.

Longtime members said SGIA keeps them up-to-date about industry trends and helps them find new business. "The Who's Who directory from SGIA is something we use for sales leads," said Ben Petsy with SaatiPrint USA (Somers, New York), which reached its 50th anniversary in 2008 as an SGIA member.

"It's just a fantastic tool for inside and outside salespeople to help them introduce SaatiPrint as an established member of the SGIA community, and welcome other members," he added.
