BLAIR COMPANIES ANNOUNCES ACQUISITON AND MAJOR EXPANSION

Altoona, PA. — Blair Companies. Today announced the acquisition of major manufacturing assets and the hiring of the Facilities Rebranding Team from ImagePoint, a leading provider of electric signage and project management solutions that went into liquidation late last month. ImagePoint’s technologies included sophisticated distortion screening, thermoforming and metal working equipment as well as architectural reimaging design and project management teams with extensive knowledge of exterior Rebranding for multiple site vendors in the automotive, banking, restaurant, and petroleum sectors. With the addition of this new team, Blair Companies’ comprehensive strategy of providing offerings across the entire spectrum of exterior signage, architectural reimaging, interior fixtures, lighting, millwork, logistics, and design services, including full service offerings in project management, engineering, design services, and installation/maintenance has been more fully realized.

With this move the Knoxville Business Unit will join Blair Companies’ Brand Identity Group, the group responsible for customer image changes for many large national and regional companies.

The Blair Companies Group includes another new partner, Blair Composites, a pioneer of fiberglass-manufactured products that was a key supplier to ImagePoint. “Blair Composites is a critical piece in the partnership. Blair Composites is the manufacturer behind many of ImagePoint’s largest customer’s brand. They have very unique capabilities and are a welcome part of the Blair family,” said Philip Devorris.
