Midwest Sign Association elects new Vice President

Shawn Green has been elected to the position of Vice President of the Midwest Sign Association (MSA). The MSA is a six-state regional trade association with 50 years experience in serving custom, commercial and production sign companies, product manufacturers, reps and supply distributors in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania.

Shawn will take office in January and serve through the end of 2010. Shawn served as Secretary of association in 2008 and 2009, and as Treasure in 2006 and 2007. Prior to that, Shawn was a MSA Trustee in 2004 and 2005. He was also a past president of his local Kiwanis and is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and the International Sign Association. Shawn also received the prestigious First Place Award from the Signs of the Times Magazine’s 2001 Electric Sign Contest, eclipsing all entries worldwide, for Best Freestanding Original Logo Sign.

Shawn is the President of Green Sign Company Inc. in Greensburg, Indiana. The company was founded in 1971 by Shawn’s father, Billy Lee Green. In 1986 Shawn took over the family business and has made it the success that it is today. Green Sign Company is a full service sign company that has specialties ranging from modern electronic display systems with LED technology, to more traditional signs.
